The Best New York Hotels to Stay

The Big Apple is considered by many to be the largest city in the world. It is certainly a competitor, as Wall Street is the financial capital of the world and is home to some of the largest investment banks in the world.

It is also home to some of the most famous monuments in the United States and the world, with the Empire State Building over Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty welcoming guests on their arrival, and Central Park providing a quiet retreat for New Yorkers.

So, if you are planning a trip to New York, here are some hotels to keep in mind.

Resorts World Casino New York City

Las Vegas does not have a monopoly on casino resorts in the US and Resorts World Casino New York City is proof of that. Located near JFK Airport, it is easily accessible by car and public transport (Train A stops right outside the door and will take you to and from Manhattan in a few minutes). It has everything you would expect from a casino complex: several restaurants, function rooms, bars and, of course, casino games.

At Casino Resorts World you will find poker, slot machines, roulette, and blackjack. If you have not yet gone to a casino, you may want to study the rules of these games in advance and practice a little before going to the casino. When you practice online, you not only learn the basic principles of the games, but for example in online blackjack, you can discover other variants such as the deal or the No deal.

Hotel Plaza

Featured in the legendary Christmas movie Home Alone 2, the Plaza Hotel is a luxurious five-star hotel on Fifth Avenue, just outside Central Park. It contains awesome architecture inside and out, with magnificent tiers of roof details and huge chandeliers.

The rooms are decorated in the same way, with luxurious classic furniture, floor-to-ceiling curtains, and golden taps. Outside your room, you will find the Champagne bar, the Plaza Food Hall, and the Palm Court. There are several shops, a spa, and a fitness center.

With all these incredible facilities at your fingertips, you don’t have to leave the hotel. But just outside are Central Park and New York, so you will definitely do it.

Hotel St. Regis in New York

Another luxury hotel in the heart of Manhattan, the St. Regis New York will cost you about per night. For that money, you’re just four blocks from Central Park, while being within walking distance of Trump Tower, the Museum of Modern Art, Top of the Rock, and Rockefeller Center.

All rooms are decorated with fine-art details with luxurious furniture, Bose audio systems, and high-speed Internet access.

The Chatwal

The Chatwal is located in the theater district, two blocks from Times Square. It is an excellent hotel to reach other parts of the city, with five metro stations nearby. Central Park is always just a 15-minute walk away.

The rooms are in Art Deco style and give Chatwal a refined boutique atmosphere. They feel much more modern than St. Regis and Plaza, with straight and less golden lines.

Nothing white on the scale of the place, the Chatwal has many amenities. There is a swimming pool, a spa, a sauna, and a steam room, as well as a fitness center, a restaurant, and a bar.

Arlo Nomade

If you’re looking for something a little affordable, Arlo NoMad is a micro-hotel on 31st Street, between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue. The rooms are much smaller than in other hotels, but it has many common areas and is centrally located. This makes it ideal for people who just want “a place to stay” while exploring New York.

However, there are still many facilities. Guests receive free passes to the New York Sports Club, which is just five blocks away. There is a bar and a restaurant as well as a shared office space that has a coworking feel.

The prices are about half of those of most others, but you get everything you need from Arlo NoMad.
